Rules & Regulations:

1.  All entries must have a negative coggins within twelve months.

2.  Show management reserves the right to add, cancel or combine classes.

3. Goodwill and sportsmanship are essential for a fun and sage show for all.  Management reserves the right to bar any animal, exhibitor, owner, or spectator for inappropriate conduct.

4.  Appropriate attire encouraged, but not required.  All youth 18 and under must have ASTM/ SEI certified helmets.  Safety headgear will not be penalized in any class.

5. Concessions will be provided on the grounds.

6. No alcohol permitted on Park grounds.

7. Neither Craig County Young Farmers , Craig 4-H or BRHF nor any of its members, families, organizers, property owners nor employees shall be held responsible for accident, damage, injury, illness, or loss to the animals, personal property, exhibitors, spectators, or any other persons on the show grounds.

8. A two minute gate call and five minute tack change will be enforced.

9. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

10. You do not have to be a member of BRHF to enter a class.

11. You must be entered in the class prior to the gate call for that class.

12. Competitors should be a member of the Blue Ridge Horse Force if they want points won to be accumulated towards year end awards.  All Classes that count for year end awards are indicated with BRHF in the title.  You do not have to be a member to compete in the class. 

13. Judges decision is final.

Directions to fairgrounds: From I-81 South (Roanoke) Get off Exit 141.  Take left off of ramp on to 419 north.  Come to your first light and take a right onto Rt. 311 North towardNew Castle.  Stay on Rt. 311 for 20 miles until you enter town ofNew Castle. New Castle Fairgrounds will be on the right.

 From Christiansburg and Blacksburg I-81 North Get off Exit 140.  Take a left off ramp.  Follow that to the first traffic light and take a left onto Rt. 311 North.  Follow Rt. 311 North for 20 miles until you enter town ofNew Castle. New Castle Fairgrounds will be on the right.
